Squidy

Once upon a time, in the deep, dark depths of the ocean, there lived an ugly squid. This squid was unlike any other, for it had a face that only a mother could love. Its eyes were crossed and its tentacles were twisted and mangled, giving it a truly bizarre appearance.

But the ugly squid didn't care about its appearance, for it had a secret. You see, this squid was actually an ancient, magical creature that had been cursed by a group of angry mermaids. The curse had transformed the once beautiful squid into the ugly, twisted creature it was now.

The ugly squid spent its days hiding in the shadows, avoiding the ridicule of the other sea creatures. But deep down, it knew that one day, it would break the curse and return to its former glory.

Until that day came, the ugly squid remained a bizarre, ugly creature, feared and reviled by all who laid eyes upon it. But it didn't let that get it down, for it knew that one day, it would be beautiful once again.
